Meet the photographer
I notice the moments most people miss.
The quick glance between a mother and her child. The laugh that lasts only a second. The way someone reaches for a hand they've held a thousand times before.
Maybe that's because I've always been a storyteller.
As a communication and theatre major, teacher, wife, mother, and photographer, I've spent my life fascinated by people and the stories they carry. I believe the most meaningful moments are often the smallest ones—the ones that seem ordinary until years later when they become priceless.
That belief was shaped long before I ever picked up a camera professionally.
After my grandmother passed away, our family gathered around her cedar chest filled with photographs, each carefully labeled in her beautiful handwriting. In that moment, I realized photographs are more than images—they're the stories we hold onto.
Today, I have the honor of preserving those stories for others, creating photographs you'll treasure for generations.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me with a cup of coffee, music always playing (fun fact: I used to sing in a band!), and spending time with my family and our crew of chickens, goats, a donkey, a dog, and a few cats. Life is a little wild around here—and I wouldn't have it any other way.

When you step in front of my camera, my goal is to preserve more than what things looked like. I want to capture the connections, personalities, and fleeting moments that make your story uniquely yours.
I pay attention to the little things—the laughter, the glances, the quiet in-between moments that often become the memories we treasure most.
I'll offer guidance when needed, but I also leave room for real moments to unfold naturally. Because years from now, I want your photographs to do more than bring back a memory—I want them to bring back a feeling.
